Reporting to the TPA Manager, the Associate - TPA Accountant works with the Accounting and Operations team to provide outsourced payment solutions to our Carrier Clients. Other tasks include but are not limited to ad hoc reporting, stop payments and voids, account reconciliations, data entry in various applications, answering inquiries, etc.

- Assist in printing checks daily
- Match printed checks to source document (i.e. invoice, settlement letters, etc.) to ensure key attributes match from check to source document and vice versa
- Complete Positive Pay uploads and associated exceptions that result in banking portal
- Confirms overnight/expedited check requests are completed daily.
- Responds to inquiries from customers and TPA operational staff/managers.
- Complete stop payments within various banking portals, as well as the associated voids in the accounting system, while communicating with TPA Operational admins for tracking purposes.
- Handle returned checks and communicates with TPA Operations to ensure payments are redistributed correctly.
- Assist TPA Manager with weekly & monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist in audit requests and operational inquiries
- Assist TPA Manager in running reports for operations as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
