The Paying Agent Specialist is primarily responsible for the disbursement of payments to contractors

Primary Duties include but are not limited to: (Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform essential functions.)
  • Review partial payment requests.
  • Communicate with service providers to ensure proper documents are submitted.
  • Communicate with the PAS Training Instructor so the training program can be changed to focus on frequently missed items.
  • Answer telephone calls from the PAS queues. 
  • Respond to contractor inquiries concerning PAS processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Minimum of AA/AS or equivalent education required.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience that includes accounting/banking-related job duties in a professional office environment.
  • Highly attentive to detail and mindful of task completion.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple priorities.
  • Problem solving skills, including financial reconciliation and issue/error resolution.
  • Must be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal and written communications.
  • Desire to participate in the creation and execution of processes and procedures.

Starting salary range:
$16.00- Starting Hourly wage
